Health Insurance Reform
A new health insurance reform law passed in Congress and
was signed by President Obama on March 23rd, 2010. The job
of implementing the new insurance reforms in Montana falls
to Commissioner Lindeen. CSI staff are working hard to

Note: Commercial tow truck operators should be aware that as of October 1st, 2009 they will be providing their proof of liability insurance to the Department of Justice instead of the Public Service Commission.
Cornerstone: Respondent Robert Congdon has retained counsel who has requested additional time to review the pleadings and documents in this matter. The parties will be providing a status update to the Hearing Examiner at the end of July. In the interim, the Receiver is continuing his work in Cause No. CDV-2009-157, pending before the Montana First Judicial District Court.
