"Protecting Montana Investors" The importance of investor education and financial literacy is not a new concept. Education is the most effective deterrent against investment scams, and the need to assist the public in understanding investment opportunities is more important than ever. The Montana Money School offers five programs designed to help Montana residents - from students to seniors - manage and protect their money and make sound financial decisions. The Money School programs are designed to assist local speakers in giving presentations to schools, civic organizations, churches, businesses, senior groups, retirees, membership clubs, private organizations, and other groups interested in investor education and financial literacy. Presentations by the Montana Securities Department staff also are available upon request and availability.
